The Rangers Emergency Backup “McBackup” Goalie Is An Electric Factory

The New York Rangers season has been a struggle so far, and we may be starting to see the end of a successful era for the Blueshirts. Their coach is on the brink of being fired, their hall of fame goalie appears to be on his way out the door one way or another, and the team is in serious danger of missing the playoffs for the first time since 2009. But one glimmering ray of hope has emerged, and his name is McBackup.

Whoever in the Rangers organization that had this #nice jersey made should be given a promotion immediately. This is the first real spark I’ve seen from this team all year. McBackup may be just what the Rangers needed for a late playoff push.
