Phil Mickelson Better Use His New Twitter Account To Tout His Gambling Picks

It is no secret that our boy Phil likes to gamble. Whether it be on the course, at the tables, or at the sportsbook, Lefty likey his action. There are countless, and well documented stories of Phil’s gambling habits both on, and off the course, but for the purpose of this article, I want to focus on the sports gambling aspect. Even though it is also well documented the debt that Phil incurred to famous Vegas gambler, Billy Walters, I NEED Phil to start tweeting out his picks.

It seemed inevitable that Phil would create a Twitter, especially after he nearly broke it with his Mizzen+Main dance. Another reason being that he wants to be able to promote the $10 Million Match between Tiger, and himself this coming Thanksgiving. Hell, maybe he will even tweet out some chipping instructional videos, like the one he gave to Larry Fitzgerald at the Greenbriar. Now, all of these reasons why Phil created a Twitter account make complete sense, but there is still one way to optimize his Twitter following…
With sports gambling recently becoming legalized in New Jersey, and soon to be across the rest of the United States, Phil is going tout his daily gambling picks on his Twitter account. Before Phil tees off at the Northern Trust on Thursday at 12:55 pm with Patrick Reed and Tony Finau, I am going to need to know who he likes in the Indians/Red Sox game that starts at 1:05pm. If Phil doesn’t use this platform to become the greatest sports gambling tout on Twitter, then what is the point? I have said it before, to never pay for another mans picks, especially when you can just lose that money on your own, but I would have to go against my morals and buy Phils picks.

Even if he doesn’t become the next Stu Feiner, I would at least hope he joins us degens in the gambling twitterverse to sweat out the last 2 minutes of a Pac-12 After Dark game to see if the over is going to hit. As sports gambling continues to become more mainstream, I would not be surprised to see Phil become one of the leading sports personalities at the forefront of this next gambling wave, and that starts with becoming a Twitter Tout!
I would pay so much money for “Phil’s Picks, Parlays, and Putting Tips” it is not even funny. Now I know Phil is more privy to getting tips rather than giving them, but you really get the value with the extra putting tips. I think I just gave Phil his next business venture, so I am going to expect him to wet the beak, or at least just some free plays.
UPDATE:
Not only is “The Match” set, but Phil and Tiger are already going back and forth! How is Twitter still free?
I bet you think this is the easiest $9M you will ever make😂
