Nevada Returned Their Two Best Basketball Players Last Night, And The Video Of It Is Electric

No one really knew anything about the Nevada Wolfpack before the 2017-2018 college basketball season. Then, the team led by head coach Eric Musselman (unreal name) made the elite eight as a seven seed. It was a great cinderella story, but Nevada isn’t going away anytime soon.
The Wolfpack will go into the 2018-2019 college basketball season returning everyone except one player. They also added a McDonald’s All-American, as well as 6 transfers. This team is stacked top to bottom.
Their two top players, and twin brothers, Caleb and Cody Martin, had originally declared for the NBA Draft, but without an agent. They waited until the last hour before the deadline to decide whether they were going to remain in the draft, or return to Nevada. When they decided, they FaceTimed Coach Musselman:

I’m ready to run through a brick wall every single time I watch this! That is what college sports are all about! You couldn’t have written a better movie script for this. The way everything happens is just so perfect. The Martin twins telling Coach Musselman on FaceTime, only for coach to yell “YEA!!!!!” in front of hundreds of people. Then slowly, one by one, each person in the room gives a standing ovation. Absolutely electric.
This is one of my favorite videos ever. I am now part Nevada fan for the 2018-2019 college basketball season. Some additional info about this announcement here… Nevada is a consensus top-seven in most preseason rankings following last night. This is HUGE college basketball news. Bring on the season.
