The new look Browns, led by their #1 Overall Pick, Baker Mayfield, have been chosen by HBO as this years team featured on it’s hit show, Hard Knocks, and I for one am delighted. While I’m not getting a behind the scenes look at my Patriots, which would never happen, it will be entertaining as hell to watch a team come into camp after an 0-16 season. However, you don’t get the feel of an 0-16 team when you look at the offseason that the Browns had, headlined by Baker.
Will become official later today: Browns selected to be featured team on this summer’s Hard Knocks, per source.
Bonus Browns, more Mayfield.

We have already gotten a behind the scenes look at Baker as he made his way through the draft process, and if you haven’t, check out the link attached, because it is well worth the watch and you will see why the Browns took him first overall. So we have an idea of how Baker is going to be the star of the show, but there are a couple other guys that I am really excited to get an inside look at. If you have watched Hard Knocks before, you know there will be some characters that no one has ever heard of, but the Browns are full of guys who can be an electric factory, and the first being Josh “Flash” Gordon.

If only we had Baylor Josh Gordon to entertain us, and even though he may have matured somewhat, there is no doubt in my mind he will be an absolute clown. Oddly enough, the next guy I can’t wait to watch is an actual clown in Hue Jackson. The fact that this man still has a job in the NFL is mind blowing, and him being featured on Hard Knocks may end up being the nail in the coffin when all of America sees his ineptitude.

As much as watching players and coaches clown around during training camp, another part of Hard Knocks is watching these freaks of nature working on their craft, and just how hard they work to get to this elite level. For that reason, I cannot wait for HBO to feature Myles Garrett, because that kid (22 years old) is a grown ass man when it comes to the game of football. Combine that with the fact that he actually has one of the more intellectual twitter accounts in the NFL, it will be interesting to see that dichotomy as he also beats the fuck out of offensive linemen, and quarterbacks.
First drive of his career and Myles Garrett gets his first career sack. Love the move he makes to get past the left guard. pic.twitter.com/1RPLpAx6yO

If you (tweeters) could speak to yourself from 5 years ago for 2 minutes what would you say?

These are not the Browns of last year, even though Hue is still there somehow, so it will be interesting to see how they move forward after not winning a game last year. All signs point to Baker being the second savior in Cleveland, but this is also the Browns we are talking about, so there is a chance we just add Baker to the jersey, and keep it moving. Regardless of what the season holds for this years Browns’ team, what we do know is that Hard Knocks is going to be entertaining as hell with this bunch of guys, led by Baker, Flash, and Myles.
All I know is I will be wearing this “Let’s Get Baked” shirt, while being baked, as I watch Hard Knocks this summer, and it will be glorious. If you haven’t picked yours up already this tee is a must have for the upcoming football season, even if you aren’t a Browns fan.
